Etihad Airways (EY/ETD)

Etihad Airways is the second flag carrier airline of the United Arab Emirates. The airline was established by Royal Decree in 2003. Etihad began operations with a ceremonial flight to Al Ain on November 5th 2003 and a week later its commercial services were launched with flights to Beirut. Today, Etihad Airways flights number over 1,000 per week and passengers can fly to to destinations in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Australia. Etihad is owned by the government of Dubai and is a subsidiary of the Emirates Group.
