The most isolated archipelago in the Mediterranean: Malta, made up of 7 small islands, the most famous ones of Gozo and Comino are inhabited, while the others can be visited during the day.

Speaking of fishermen, another Maltese curiosity: the typical local boats called Iuzzus are very colourful and on each side you can see the design of the eye of Osiris, to protect the fishermen and keep the evil eye away.

At the end of a meal or for a snack, enjoy the Kannoli of Sicilian influence and a taste of Ħelwa tat-Tork a crunchy almond crushed cake.

It is well known that the best wine producers in Europe are Italy, France, Germany and Spain, but do not underestimate Malta, because if you take part in a visit to the various wineries on the island you will be surprised by the variety and genuine taste of its grapes.
