Tigerair Australia

Tigerair Australia (TT/TGG)

The brightly named Tigerair Australia was set up in 2007 with the intention of being a budget, domestic airline. They opened their first base in Melbourne in 2007, which was followed by Sydney in 2012 and then Brisbane opened in 2014. With a steady rise in turnover, due to its commitment to well run economy flights with a friendly efficient approach, the airline set up its first international destination route to Bali, from either Perth, Melbourne or Adelaide, in March 2016. Tigerair Australia also caught the interest of the Virgin Australia Group, who bought 60% of the company in 2011, which increased their solid reputation even more.
